Click here if you are having trouble viewing this message.   Dear Madam, Dear Sir,    At its 538th plenary session, held on 17 and 18 October 2018, the European Economic and Social Committee adopted the following opinion, available in all language versions: SOC/590 - New agenda for culture   The EESC holds the view that Europe is a cultural community based on shared values and that the social market economy is a hallmark of the European way of life.
