EU Literature Prize winner Ioana Parvulescu meets her British readers View this email in your browser Thursday 23 June 2016, 7pm (doors open 6.30pm) Romanian Cultural Institute, 1 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PH We are delighted to invite you to celebrate the launch of Ioana Pârvulescu's 2013 EU Literature Prize winning novel "Life Begins on Friday", a captivating foray full of intrigue and revelation into the Romanian Belle Époque, hot off the press from Istros Books. The author will be joined by writer, editor and arts critic Lucy Popescu (The Times Literary Supplement et al) and publisher Susan Curtis Kojakovic (Istros Books), in a conversation about past, present and the challenges of writing in today's Europe.    Actor Sebastian Bădărău will crown the evening with gripping excerpts from the book.  Followed by a glass of wine and book signing.   Free event.
