Join us, from noon to dusk, in our celebrations dedicated to Romania's Culture Day, with a series of events exulting the richness of traditions that make up the Romanian soul through poetry, film and music. Featuring Cristina Catalina, Levente Molnar, Dragoş Teglaş and Anda Teglaş. 'At the Gates of the Sky', a bonanza of traditional gems orchestrated by the beloved folk bard, Grigore Leșe, will be screened live from the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, followed by a demonstration of the multilingual richness of Romania's poetic tradition with actors Cristina Catalina and Levente Molnar, reading exultant verses by Mihai Eminescu, Nikolaus Lenau and Ady Endre. The evening will peak with the UK premiere of '13 Shades of Romanian', an encounter with the Romanians whose talents and enthusiasm make Britain a vibrant, inclusive society, followed by a Q&A with the creative team behind it. Accompanied by a glass of Romanian wine.
