Revista internaţionala Starpress -www.valcea-turism.ro lansează

CONCURSUL INTERNAŢIONAL DE POEZIE PENTRU ROMÂNII DIN INTREAGA LUME „STARPRESS" 2014, ediţia a lV-a.

În acelaşi timp, organizează  CONCURSUL INTERNAŢIONAL DE PROZĂ PENTRU ROMÂNII DIN ÎNTREAGA LUME, STARPRESS 2014 - ediţia a ll-a.

Concursul Intenaţional  de poezie şi proză   "STARPRESS 2012" se desfaşoară în parteneriat şi colaborare cu peste 70 de ziare, reviste, posturi de radio şi televiziune din diaspora şi România, în perioada 01.02.2014 – 01.06.2014.

Premiile constau în sejururi în renumitele staţiuni turistice româneşti  de pe litoral, Eforie Nord – HOTEL CASA ANDREI  si Jupiter – HOTEL RIO.

Fiecare  premiu constă în câte un sejur pentru două persoane (câstigatorul  fiind insoţit de câte o persoană dragă  în sejur, ca şi la ediţiile precedente).

Regulamentul concursului:

LA SECŢIUNEA POEZIE SE PARTICIPĂ CU  5 POEZII. Concurenţii vor prezenta, alături de poezii, un CV şi o fotografie  in jpg.
LA  SECŢIUNEA PROZĂ SE  PARTICIPĂ CU  5 FRAGMENTE. Concurenţii vor prezenta, alături de fragmentele de proza, un CV şi o fotografie.
Indiferent de rezultatul concursului, cele mai interesante lucrări vor fi publicate în paginile revistei, precum şi în publicaţiile celorlalţi parteneri implicaţi în proiect.
Materialele pentru concurs pot fi trimise pe adresa:

Comitetul de selecţie va delibera pana la 1 iunie 2014 .

Astazi, 27 noiembrie 2013, am luat la cunostinta cu profunda ingrijorare
anuntul facut de primul ministru britanic, David Cameron cu privire la
masurile pe care guvernul de la Londra intentioneaza sa le ia cu privire
la reducerea accesului cetatenilor europeni la asistenta sociala.
Cu parere de rau observam ca, desi primul ministru britanic discuta cu
Financial Times despre migratia europeana, singurele referiri concrete se
fac la adresa romanilor si bulgarilor. Aceste remarci sunt o dovada ca in
continuare noi suntem discriminati  in raport cu ceilalti cetateni ai
Uniunii Europene. In calitate de lideri de opinie ai unei parti importante
din comunitatea romaneasca din UK ne exprimam ingrijorarea fata de riscul
discriminarii romanilor in UK chiar si dupa data de 1 ianuarie 2014.
Consideram ca prin eliminarea restrictiilor pe piata muncii la sfarsitul
acestui an, romanii din UK trebuie sa fie tratati la fel ca toti ceilalti
cetateni europeni. Orice modificare legislativa pe care Marea Britanie o
va impune pentru toti cetatenii europeni va fi acceptata de romanii din UK
atata timp cat modificarea legislativa nu va viza doar cetatenii romani si
bulgari.
Premierul britanic declara ca cetatenii britanici sunt profund ingrijorati
de nivelul imigratiei provenind din Romania si Bulgaria.
Cetatenii britanici, asa cum mentioneza si comisarul European Laszlo
Andor, nu cunosc  intreaga realitate. Isteria provocata de mass-media
britanica, cu asistenta politicienilor din Marea Britanie, impiedica multi
cetateni britanici sa priveasca realitatile migratiei din Romania si
Bulgaria in Marea Britanie.
Suntem convinsi ca guvernul de la Londra detine date exacte cu privire la
numarul migrantilor din Romania si Bulgaria care se afla in UK. Dar,
atentie, acesti migranti nu au un statut legal, si nu apar astfel in
statisticile oficiale. Ei  se chinuie de ani de zile sa munceasca legal in
Marea Britanie si prin declararea statutului de self-employed ( liber
angajat) nu au beneficiat de nici un fel de protectie sociala in domeniile
in care au activat. Ridicarea restrictiilor va aduce la iveala adevaratul
numar al romanilor din UK in prima luna a anului viitor iar acestia vor fi
preponderent romanii care vor fi mediatizati in presa din Regatul Unit ca
reprezentand noul val de migranti romani si bulgari care au venit in UK.
Deoarece se afla deja in UK ei nu vor pune presiune asupra locuintelor si
a sistemului social dat fiind faptul ca ei deja sunt integrati in
societatea britanica.
Asteptam alaturi de romanii din UK publicarea noilor norme legislative
care sa explice statutul cetatenilor romani in UK dupa data de 1 ianuarie
si vom accepta aceste masuri dure pe care primul ministru britanic
continua sa le anunte la modul declarativ in randuri repetate.
Speram ca guvernantii romani sa urmareasca deciziile legislative care
urmeaza a fi luate la Londra asigurandu-se ca romanii din UK- atat cei
care sunt deja aici cat si cei care vor veni dupa data de 1 ianuarie 2014-
vor beneficia de un tratament egal cu al tuturor celorlalti cetateni
europeni in fata legii din Marea Britanie.
Este revoltator ca romanii din UK nu pot sa se bucure de momentul
ridicarii restrictiilor datorita isteriei creata in UK de catre
politicienii si presa de dreapta. Datorita lor s-a inoculat ideea ca
romanii nu sunt bineveniti in UK. Amintim britanicilor, presei britanice
si politicienilor britanici ca in calitate de migranti economici romanii
din Marea Britanie sunt platitori de impozite si contributii sociale.
Atat romanii cat si ceilalti migranti din UE nu pot beneficia de ajutoare
sociale daca acestea nu sunt permise de lege iar aplicarea legislatiei din
Marea Britanie in ultimii sapte ani in ceea ce ii priveste pe romani a
fost draconica.
Ca atare, cerem premierului David Cameron, guvernului condus de acesta si
politicienilor sa puna bine in balanta toate aceste argumente si sa nu ii
discrimineze pe romani, tratandu-i ca cetateni egali ai Uniunii Europene.

Dragi prieteni,

Oriunde v-ati afla, Asociatia Jurnalistilor Romani de Pretutindeni (AJRP), prin colegiul director, va ureaza petrecere frumoasa si voie buna in aceasta zi de sarbatoare a Limbii Romane, 31 august, sarbatorita pentru prima oara in Romania.

In celalalt stat romanesc, R. Moldova, sărbătoarea a început sa fie celebrată în 1990 (la un an de la evenimentul istoric), sub numele de „Limba noastră cea română" sau „Ziua limbii române". În 1994 guvernul agrarian, a decis schimbarea denumirii inițiale în „Limba noastră", modificare determinata de prevederile art.13 din Constituția Moldovei. În 2004 Parlamentul a decis comasarea sărbătorii cu Ziua Independentei, comasare care nu a mai avut loc, dar Ziua Independentei a primit un nou nume – Ziua Republicii. De la venirea administrației liberale în fruntea municipiului Chișinău, sărbătoarea și-a recăpătat numele de ,,Limba noastră cea română", cel puțin în capitala republicii.

Defending the social enterprises in Europe: A social model and millions of jobs at stake
Social Europe can be translated into business opportunities and much-needed job creation. In the current crisis situation, where the number of people without a job or access to economic resources is steadily increasing, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) wants to strengthen growth, employment and competitiveness, through social enterprises while creating a more inclusive society that is in line with the Europe 2020 strategy.   At the Conference Social Enterprises and the Europe 2020 Strategy: Innovative solutions for a sustainable Europe, held on 3 October in Brussels, the Various Interest Group of the EESC analysed the present and future of social enterprises in Europe. "Social enterprises have proven to be more resilient in the current crisis, and should therefore play a key role in Europe's exit strategy from the crises while contributing to a faster and fairer recovery. We call on national and European policy-makers to politically support the social economy and social enterprises, and to create a level-playing field which will unleash the potential of this key economic sector", stated Luca Jahier, President of the EESC Various Interests Group.   The social economy sector already employs more than 14 million people in the EU, which amounts to more than 6% of all workers. The social economy is a key element of the European social model, especially in times of crisis. However, social enterprises do not enjoy a level playing field with traditional economic operators. Without overcoming legal, administrative, financial and political obstacles, social enterprises will not be able to fully enjoy the benefits of the single market, despite the richness and the innovative leadership which exists at all levels of the sector.   "One billion people around the world cannot be wrong. One billion have chosen to run a cooperative business, and that's something that must be taken into account in decision-making fora" added Pauline Green, President of the International Co-operative Alliance.   "We would like to help by providing a better picture of the situation of social enterprises in the EU. That is why we are about to launch a large project with the aim of mapping social enterprises. This is in fact in response to the Economic and Social Committee's call for an EU-wide comparison of approaches to public financing that are particularly suitable for social enterprises", stated László Andor, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.   The European Foundation Statute and access to public procurement   The EESC is determined to defend the role of social enterprises in providing services of general interest. According to the EESC, Member States should facilitate participation in public procurements to economic operators whose principal objective is the social and professional integration of disabled or disadvantaged workers, provided that a threshold of 30% of disabled or disadvantaged workers is respected.   The EESC also urges a rapid introduction of a European Foundation Statute, the adoption of a Statute for a European Association and a review of the value and usability of a European Social Enterprises label, that would definitely add value to the sector. These would help social enterprises to operate in different EU Member States without any extra administrative burden.   Finally, the EESC demands a mobilisation of the European Social Fund post 2014 to include "investment priority" for social enterprises and a better access to other funds such as capital for start-ups and growth, notably for young social entrepreneurs. The European Economic and Social Committee welcomes the Commission's proposal for an enforcement directive on the posting of workers. The message is clear: protect posted workers without neglecting the needs of businesses.   Better cooperation Following the Commission proposal of last March on the enforcement directive on the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services, on 19 September the EESC adopted its position on the subject. The EESC opinion, drafted by Thomas Janson (Workers' Group, Sweden), welcomes the Commission's goal of focusing on better implementation and effective administrative cooperation among Member States. At the same time, it stresses the importance of guaranteeing the protection of posted workers, respecting the various labour market models in the Member States and discouraging social dumping and unfair competition.   Cross-border trade and services In the EESC's view, in order to promote the transnational provision of services in a climate of fair competition, it is important to have equal minimum conditions of employment according to national laws and collective agreements. At the same time, since increasing the scope for cross-border trade is important for the development of the internal market, the directive should aim at preventing unnecessary administrative costs that place burdens on companies.   Liability in subcontracting The EESC believes that the question of liability in subcontracting is a crucial point in the proposed directive. The Commission is asked to clarify the meaning of "due diligence" that exempts companies from liability. The Project 'Metaphor in Action'

The project 'Metaphor in Action' is a National Agency Youth in Action Project led by the Romanca Society and funded by the European Union and supported by the British Council.

The Romanca Society is a non- profit and non- governmental organisation established in June 2005 for Romanian people who live and work in London. It has chosen London for the project due to its unique location as a world city, cultural and artistic diversity.

The Training course will take place in West London between 20 and 27 July 2012.

The main goal of the training is for participants to improve creativity, increase knowledge , to learn inter -cultural working methods , to share experiences and to use it for social integration as a tool for educational and non-formal teaching with all age groups in their respective countries. The participants will be from Spain, UK, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Bulgaria,Germany, Romania, France, Palestine and Turkey.

The ICD Young Leaders Forums are international networks of like-minded young individuals with an interest in developing, supporting and sustaining intercultural relations. The first Young Leaders Forum was developed in 2003 and we have since developed and launched a variety of different bilateral and multilateral forums that focus on a diverse range of relationships across the world. Over the past decade the ICD Young Leaders Forum has grown to become one of Europe’s largest independent cultural exchange organizations, hosting programs that facilitate interaction among young individuals of all cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds, from across the world.

The speakers during the conference will include leading figures and experts from international politics (including head of states and ministers), academia, the diplomatic community, civic society and the private sector, from across the world.

The ROlympics, our cultural programme during the Olympic season, is the gift Romania is making to the people of London. Curated and produced by the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) and set up in collaboration with numerous Romanian and British partners, it consists of 17 projects in film, theatre, visual arts, and literature that are inspired by the richness of London's identity and that aspire to create a lasting legacy. After a row of theatre, literature, dance and film events earlier on, join us for the second part of ROlympics, when we will unveil eight sculptures & public installations. Hopefully, the weather will clear up and you will have plenty of sunny days to enjoy them in the epicentres of the Olympic London!

19 July - 12 August  Trinity Square Gardens  Cultural Stations A gift of Romania to the people of London, Cultural Stations invite you to experiment a new concept of open-air relaxation that creatively combines cultural history and design. Composed of three modules, the Literary Station, the Scientific Station and the Multicultural Station, the installation responds to London's vibrant identity and to the Olympic values, aiming to create a lasting legacy for Londoners and visitors to the capital.      21 July - 12 August  Victoria Park & London Pleasure Gardens  Nature in the City: Organic Hay Sculptures by Erno Bartha Made of hay enforced with steel frames, Ernö Bartha's sculptures urge the viewer to rediscover the textures and smells of unspoiled nature. The monumental sculptures will adorn the West side lake of Victoria Park, one of the busiest parks in the Olympic boroughs, as well as the London Pleasure Gardens.      22 July, 8pm  Somerset House  Lucian Nagy at the River of Music Festival Virtuoso Lucian Nagy is Romania's choice in the Saxophone Massive section of the ethno and jazz music extravaganza River of Music that will take place on six stages along the Thames, representing the continents competing in the Olympic Games. This project is produced by Serious and is part of the London 2012 Festival.      24 July - 12 August  Victoria Park Live Site  PlayPoint Puzzle PlayPoint Puzzle is a massive interactive puzzle made of rotating parts that create images inspired by the Olympic Games. A meeting place, a playground and a conversation hub, the puzzle is designed by artist Miruna Amza and architect Liviu Zagan. Play with the pieces to reveal the surprising Olympic stories!      25 July, 6pm  Owen's Fields, Islington  Edgerunner: Paul Neagu's First Public Sculpture in London Champagne is uncorked for the first public sculpture by an artist of Romanian origin presented permanently in London. You are warmly invited to the unveiling ceremony of Edgerunner by Paul Neagu (1938 – 2004), which will take place in the presence of HE Dr Ion Jinga, the Ambassador of Romania to the Court of St James's, His Worship The Mayor of Islington, Councillor Jilani Chowdhury, Mr Dorian Branea, Director of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, Tony Neagu, Serban Cantacuzino, Iolanda Costide – Trustees of the Paul Neagu Estate.   Ongoing Projects          Mon 25 June-Fri 3 Aug  Central Saint Martins  The Algorithms of Beauty: Vlad Tenu at the London Festival of Architecture Award-winning Romanian architect Vlad Tenu exhibits in this year's London Festival of Architecture, a citywide celebration of architectural and design talent in the UK capital. Presented by the Romanian Cultural Institute, the project is part of the British Council's International Architecture and Design Showcase 2012, a global gathering of projects that investigate architecture and design from across the world, within the London 2012 Festival.        ICR London  Meet "the ROlympians" This photographic depiction of athletic and cultural excellence celebrates our most enduring international achievements in sports and arts. The heroes of tracks and arenas meet the demigods of letters, stage and music to form an immortal community of Romanian "Olympians", blessed with talent and glory.
